Nothing! Listing your business on The Wed Collective is completely free. No monthly fees, no annual subscriptions, no hidden charges. We've simply created a fairer business model. Instead of charging you upfront fees with no guarantee of bookings, we only take a commission when you successfully book a client through our platform. This aligns our success with yours.
Yes. To ensure our suppliers receive quality enquiries without overwhelming competition, we limit the number of suppliers in each category per region. Once a category is full, new applications will join our waiting list. We review all applications to ensure they meet our quality standards and offer services that align with our couples' needs. We look for suppliers who provide exceptional service, have solid reviews, and offer clear pricing within our couples' budget ranges.
Once your application is approved, you will receive an email to log in and access your supplier dashboard within The Wed Collective, where you can then onboard and complete your profile. Once you have completed the setup tasks, you will automatically go live on the platform!
Our process considers multiple factors including style preferences, aesthetic, budget, availability, location, and specific requirements from couples. We only connect you with couples whose needs and budgets align with your services.
While our primary focus is on the matching process, couples can also browse suppliers. However, we prioritise showing them their matched suppliers first.
Within your supplier dashboard, when editing your supplier profile you will be able to determine how far you are willing to travel and how far away from your location you wish to receive enquiries for, and we will then only match you to enquiries that fit with these preferences.
No problem at all! We understand that every wedding is different, and your quote for your services will depend on many factors. You can submit bespoke quotes unique to each couples' enquiry, based on the location and requirements, to ensure your quotes are accurate and your costs are covered.
You'll receive an alert when a couple has been matched with you, and have sent an enquiry. You'll also be notified when they have booked you.
Cancellations are handled according to your stated cancellation policy, which you set up in your profile. We'll help facilitate any refunds according to your terms.
Couples can pay via credit or debit card through our secure payment system. If the booking is before 90 days of wedding date, payments will be scheduled in 3 instalments of: deposit on booking, final instalment 7 days before wedding date, and a calculation will be made of a middle date for 2nd instalment. If the booking is 90 days or less from wedding date, only 2 payments will be scheduled of: deposit payment, and payment 7 days prior to wedding date. If booking is within 30 days of wedding date, payment will be due in full. You can decide the % of each instalment, however deposit payment (on instalments of 2 or 3 payments) can be no more than 50% of total price. Commission of 10% is automatically deducted when the couple makes a payment through our platform.
You'll get a comprehensive management system, including: enquiry management, chat function with clients, booking and availability, payment processing and tracking, task management and reminders, file sharing capabilities.
Yes! We showcase our suppliers through various marketing channels including social media features, blog spotlights, email campaigns to engaged couples, and wedding fair appearances. We encourage you to share on your own channels, and provide shareable links and badges you can add to your website and social profiles.
We ask that you direct them back to complete the booking through our platform. This ensures both parties benefit from our management tools and payment protection. Our terms of service cover this scenario.
Complete your profile fully, respond promptly to enquiries, keep your availability calendar updated, and showcase your work with high-quality images. We also recommend setting clear pricing information and highlighting what makes your services unique.
Absolutely. We encourage this and will prompt your previous clients to leave reviews. Only clients with completed bookings will be able to leave a review.
