Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the online marketplace operated by The Wed Collective LTD, where wedding service providers can list, promote, and sell their services.
• "Supplier" refers to the individual or business uploading and offering wedding-related services on the Platform.
• "Buyer" means any user purchasing services through the Platform.
• "Services" means any wedding-related service offered by the Supplier.

2. Eligibility

Suppliers must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally able to enter into binding contracts.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date business information.
• Comply with all UK laws and regulations applicable to their services.

3. Suppliers Responsibilities

The Supplier agrees to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful listings of services.
• Honour bookings made through the Platform.
• Deliver services professionally, on time, and to a high standard.
• Maintain appropriate insurance and relevant licences or certifications.
• Respond to customer enquiries and disputes in a timely manner.

4. Listing Content

• The Supplier is solely responsible for the content they upload, including descriptions, pricing, photos, and availability.
• Listings must not contain any misleading or false claims.
• The Platform reserves the right to edit, reject, or remove listings that violate policies or laws.

5. Fees & Commission

• The Platform will charge a 10% commission on each completed transaction.
• Commission is deducted automatically from the Supplier's payout.
• Additional fees may apply for premium listings or advertising features, with prior agreement.

6. Payments

• Payments from buyers are processed via Stripe
• Payouts to Suppliers will be made within 3-5 business days after the payment date of each instalment, less applicable fees.
• The Platform is not responsible for failed payments due to incorrect account details.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• The Supplier must clearly state their cancellation and refund policy in each listing.
• The Platform reserves the right to enforce full or partial refunds to Buyers in cases of:
  • Service non-performance.
  • Misrepresentation.
  • Legal violation.
• Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension or termination.

8. Supplier Conduct

Suppliers must not:

• Contact buyers outside the Platform to circumvent fees.
• Upload copyrighted material without permission.
• Discriminate against users based on any protected characteristic.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

• Suppliers must handle any Buyer data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
• Suppliers agree not to misuse or share Buyer information outside the context of the service.

10. Intellectual Property

• Suppliers retain ownership of the content they upload, but grant the Platform a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display their content for promotional purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

• The Platform acts only as a facilitator and is not a party to the contract between Suppliers and Buyers.
• The Platform is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from services rendered.

12. Termination

• Either party may terminate this agreement with 14 days' written notice.
• The Platform may suspend or terminate a Supplier's account immediately for:
  • Breach of this agreement.
  • Fraudulent, harmful, or abusive conduct.
  • Violation of applicable laws.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Amendments

The Platform reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time. Suppliers will be notified of material changes and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
